Read up on how greyhound racing exploits these beautiful loving pets and have your say!

The hard unfortunate truth is, that so many of these beautiful greyhounds die every year due to racing. To be exact, one dog died every 3 days in 2024 at the hands of the racing industry and between 2017 and 2024, over 4,000 greyhounds died due to fatal injuries or euthanasia (treatment costed too much or deemed unprofitable). In the same period, over 35,000 injuries were recorded.
It's time that we changed and put a stop to the horrors that these greyhounds go through. Most of their lives are bleak, they usually live in kennels, with minimal social contact, enrichment or play and if they live in pairs, they are muzzled. All of this leads to high stress levels and anxiety.
Using animals for our own entertainment is outdated and quite frankly upsetting. If you stand for greyhounds being pet and not bets then please sign the Animal Aid Petition to have your say. All of the facts and statistics here were sourced from their website and this is only a small percentage of the information out there.
